The Town of Valleyview would like to advise residents that a leak detection survey of the municipal natural gas system is beginning today. Field representatives with GLD Projects will be working throughout the community to inspect gas mains and related infrastructure.

Project Details

  • Duration: The survey is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.

  • Hours of Operation: Crews will be working daily during regular daytime hours.

Identifying Survey Crews

To ensure community safety and awareness, survey personnel will be highly visible and identifiable by:

  • Company-branded clothing

  • High-visibility safety apparel

  • Specialized gas detection equipment

  • Clearly marked vehicles

Residents may observe crews walking roadways, alleys, utility rights-of-ways, and other public areas as they carry out this important work.

Service Impact

This survey is part of the Town’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and reliable natural gas distribution system. No interruptions in natural gas service are anticipated during the inspection process.
