Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Valleyview will hold a Public Hearing before the second reading of Bylaw 2026-09, The Land Use Bylaw.
The Town of Valleyview is reviewing and updating its Land Use Bylaw (LUB). The LUB also establishes development regulations such as building setbacks, maximum building height, lot coverage and other standards that guide development within the Town.
The purpose of this review is to update and replace the Town of Valleyview’s Land Use Bylaw to improve clarity, streamline development processes, and ensure the bylaw remains consistent with current legislation, planning principles, and the needs of the community.
As Bylaw No. 2026-09 is a proposed bylaw under Part 17 of the Municipal Government Act, it is not subject to petition requesting a vote of the electors.
