The Town of Valleyview is offering the following surplus vehicles, equipment, and materials for sale by tender.
All items will be available for viewing and inspection beginning Monday, June 14 until Friday, July 2, 2021, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Items beginning with Reference #PW-2021 are located at the Town of Valleyview Public Works yard located at 4407 39 Avenue and visitors are asked to check in at the office before entering the yard. Items beginning with Reference #CS-2021 are located at the Polar Palace Arena located at 4429 52 Avenue, and visitors are asked to call (780) 524-5158, prior to viewing. If you would like more information on an item(s), please call (780) 524-5155. Covid measures are in place and all visitors must be masked and maintain 2m (6’) from other individuals on site.
Anyone wishing to submit a tender on surplus item(s) must submit one bid per individual item, and each bid must be submitted in a separate envelope. Tenders must include the Tender Reference #, item description, bid amount, the bidder’s name, mailing address, and contact phone number(s), and sealed in an envelope labelled ‘Surplus Equipment Tender’ followed by the Tender Reference #.

Alternatively, bids can be dropped off in person to the Town Administration Office located at 4909 50 Street, Valleyview, Mondays to Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Facsimile and other electronic submissions will not be accepted. All items are sold as is, where is, and without warranty. Every effort has been made to ensure accurate information in item listings and the Town is not liable for any errors or correctness of information in listings including, but not limited to, condition, exact dimensions and/or quantities. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding to determine its condition. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Deadline for bids is Monday, July 5 at 4:30 p.m. Winning bidders will be notified by telephone no later than Wednesday, July 7, 4:00 p.m. Successful bidders must submit payment in full via cash, credit, or debit, to the Town of Valleyview Administration office located at 4909 50 Street, prior to picking up their item(s). Proof of purchase, by way of receipt, must be presented to the Public Works and/or Community Services Departments at the time of pick up. Winning bidders have until Monday, July 19, 4:00 p.m. to collect their items.
