A reminder to all residents, as per the Town’s Waste Management Bylaw, all household garbage must be placed inside your garbage cart and the lid on the cart must be fully closed. Garbage bags or loose refuse sitting next to carts will not be collected.

- Containing bags within carts keeps our streets and neighborhoods clean and safe.
- It prevents wildlife and domestic animals from scattering garbage.
- It protects the environment and our storm drains.
- It makes collection safer and more efficient for our sanitation workers.

Extra garbage?
- Residents can take excess household garbage as well as recyclables to the Valleyview Recycle Centre and Transfer station free of charge during regular operating hours.
