The Town of Valleyview crews will be completing maintenance today, April 29, 2026, in Zone N (North of Main) near 46 Street and 56 Avenue.
Crews will be working in the area throughout the day. Traffic control will be in place, and temporary lane restrictions or short delays may occur. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution, reduce speed, and follow all posted signage and direction from personnel on site to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
As part of this maintenance, water flushing will occur. Residents in and around the area may experience temporary cloudy or discoloured water (often appearing white, yellow, or light brown) and/ or changes in water pressure.
If you notice cloudy or discoloured water run your cold-water tap (preferably a bathtub tap) for several minutes until the water runs clear. Avoid using hot water until the water clears, as discoloured water can be drawn into your hot water tank. Please avoid doing laundry (especially light-coloured loads) until clarity is restored.
If discolouration continues after running cold water for a period of time, please contact Utility Services using the number below.
