Valleyview isn’t just where he lives, it’s where his family’s story continues to grow, and where he’s committed to building a strong future for the next generation. With over 30 years of experience in the local oil and gas industry, he brings a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the local economy. He spent six years as a public servant on the Town Council, and now, as Mayor, he’s focused on listening to residents, being
present in the community, and making decisions that reflect Valleyview’s values and priorities.
Priorities
- Transparent and Inclusive Leadership – hosting regular town halls, recording meetings, and ensuring every resident has a voice at Council.
- Housing and Health Care Access – supporting more rental housing options and working to improve access to health care services.
- Modernizing Local Governance – updating outdated bylaws to better reflect the needs and realities of today’s Valleyview.
- Regional Partnerships – working together with neighbouring communities like the MD of Greenview and Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation to strengthen Valleyview’s future.
