NOTICE TO TOWN RESIDENTS
HYDRANT FLUSHING
Commencing Tuesday, August 16, 2022, flushing of fire hydrants will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Hydrant flushing is performed annually to remove sediment that accumulates in watermains, and to improve water quality and clarity.
Customers may notice slight discoloration or sediment in their water when operators are flushing hydrants in their area. If this happens, run cold water through your inside faucets for a few minutes until water runs clear.
