The Town of Valleyview Utilities Department will be performing water line flushing in Zone S (South of Main), Zone N (North of Main), and Zone R (Red Willow Subdivision), today, October 15, 2025, as part of our regular maintenance program. This work helps improve water quality and aesthetics, ensuring clear, clean, and reliable water throughout the community
What’s Happening:
Water Operators will begin flushing lines through fire hydrants in the South of Main area, then continue north along 48th street toward the Red Willow Subdivision throughout the day. This process helps remove naturally occurring sediment from the system and maintain water clarity.
Affected Areas:
Properties within Zone S (South of Main), Zone N (North of Main) & Zone R (Red Willow Subdivision) may notice some temporary changes in their water during this time. Please refer to the map below for a visual overview of the community’s water service zones.
What to Expect:
- Temporary water discolouration
- Possible fluctuations
- Water remains safe to use
If your water appears discoloured, please run a cold-water tap until it clears.
Town water operators will be working in these areas, and traffic control measures will be in place where needed.
