Utilities & Asset Management and Public Works crews have completed the repair on 40 Avenue between Highway Street and Ravine Drive, and water service has been restored to the affected properties. Crews may still be working in the area to complete backfilling, clean-up, and system flushing. Traffic control still may remain in place — please stay clear of the work zone and follow all posted signage.
After service is restored:
- You may notice air in the lines or temporary discoloration. Run a cold tap (bathtub or laundry tub) for 5-10 minutes until water runs clear and cold.
- Avoid laundry and hot water use until your cold water is clear.
- If low pressure or discoloration persists beyond 2-3 hours, please contact us.
