Public Works and Utilities crews are working to locate and isolate a water leak which occurred on 50th Avenue. When located, water service between 46th and 49th Streets will be shut off and will remain off while crews perform the repair. Residents are advised to stock up on water for drinking and sanitary purposes.
When water service is restored, thoroughly flush water lines using cold water faucets. Flush from bathtub and shower cold water faucets first for five minutes or until water temperature runs colder and water is clear.
Traffic control measures are in place and motorists and pedestrians are asked to please use caution when in the area.
