2023 COMBINED ASSESSMENT/TAX NOTICES
Town of Valleyview
Notice is hereby given that the combined Assessment/Tax Notices for the Town of Valleyview have been mailed May 25, 2023. All assessed persons are deemed to have received their assessment/tax notices as a result of this publication. If you have not received your notice, it is the onus of the ratepayer to contact the Town Office to receive a copy.
Assessment appeals must be submitted to the Clerk of the Assessment Review Board on the “Assessment Review Board Complaint Form” prescribed in the Regulations (available at the Town Office) on or before August 1, 2023 and accompanied by the current appeal fees set by Council, which are refundable if your appeal is successful.
Property taxes are due in full on JULY 31, 2023. A 10% penalty is added on August 1st to any unpaid current taxes, and an additional 5% penalty is added September 1 to any remaining unpaid current taxes. All arrears are subject to a 1% penalty on the 1st day of each month, and a 5% penalty January 1st.

If you do not receive a 2023 tax notice for your property, contact the Town Office at 780-524-5150.
Please note that the Town is not responsible for delays. To avoid late payment penalties, property owners need to ensure their property tax is paid before the due date on July 31 2023.
