Rate Increase Effective April 1, 2023
During the regular council meeting on February 27, 2023, and in accordance with Utility – Collection of Water, Sewer, Gas & Garbage Rates Bylaw #2000-11, Valleyview Town Council approved an increase of $1.00 per cubic meter to the commercial bulk water rate for a new commercial bulk water rate of $10.00 per cubic meter.
In consideration of increased costs to operate and maintain the municipal water supply system, administration proposed the increase to the bulk water rate. The increase was adopted as per Resolution #23-03-49 and is effective April 1, 2023.
The current rate of $5.00 per cubic meter for residential users remains unchanged.
