In 2020, the Town of Valleyview proposed and the MD of Greenview accepted a ‘Good Neighbour Practice’ which allows Town residents access to Greenview waste management facilities, free of charge. MD residents, in reciprocity, have access to the Valleyview Recycle Centre and Transfer Station for disposal of household waste and recyclable materials.
Users are reminded that they must check in with facility attendants upon arrival at any of the waste management facilities operated by the Town or the MD and will be required to provide their name and address. Please follow all instructions provided by the attendants on duty to ensure waste is directed to the appropriate areas.
As neighbouring municipalities, the Town and MD work collectively to provide this mutually beneficial service and the cooperation of all users is appreciated.
