Starting the week of September 12, 2022, roadway improvement projects will be taking place throughout the municipality. These activities will temporarily affect the road-surface conditions in multiple locations.
Ruel Concrete Ltd. has been contracted to complete numerous mill and fill projects which are expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, weather-permitting. The mill and fill process involves planing existing asphalt overlay with a milling machine and replacing the milled location with new asphalt. During this process, road surfaces may have rough, grooved surfaces and drop-offs at the pavement edge.
Motorists are advised to slow down in construction areas and obey all traffic measures in place.
