A second water main break has occurred on 49th Street at 51st Avenue. Water service has been shut off and is expected to remain off for approximately 48 hours.
The affected area at this time is 50th Street North to 52nd Avenue and from 5002 52nd Avenue to 50th Street, both sides; 49th Street north to 52nd Avenue, both sides; and 52nd Avenue from 49th Street to 50th Street.
Crews are on scene and are working quickly to repair the break and restore service to customers.
Traffic control measures are in place and motorists and pedestrians are asked to please use caution when in the area.
