Utilities & Asset Management and Public Works crews are completing maintenance today to investigate a possible leak on 40 avenue between Highway Street and Ravine Drive. To complete this work safely, water in the immediate area may be temporarily shut off.
Please note: A short section of 40 Avenue around the worksite is closed to traffic. Please stay clear of the work zone and follow all signage so our crews can work safely.
Recommendations:
- If you notice discoloured water, run your cold water taps for 5-10 minutes, or until the water runs clear and cold.
- Avoid doing laundry or using hot water until your cold water runs clear to prevent staining or sediment entering your hot-water tank.
- If a shut-off occurs, please flush a cold water tap after service is restored
