The Town of Valleyview Utilities & Asset Management Department, in collaboration with Public Works crews, will be completing a hydrant repair today in Zone N (North of Main) near 46 Street and 54 Avenue.
Traffic control will be in place, and crews will be working in the area throughout the day. Please drive with caution and follow posted signage to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
Water service interruptions may occur during the repair, and residents in the surrounding area may be affected. Residents may also notice temporary fluctuations in water pressure or minor discolouration during and after the repair. This is normal, as sediments can be disturbed within the water lines.
If you experience discoloured water, please run your cold water taps until the water clears. Avoid using hot water or doing laundry until clarity is restored.
The repair is part of the Town’s ongoing maintenance efforts to ensure the reliability and safety of Valleyview’s water distribution system.
