As part of our commitment to the Town of Valleyview 2024 Water Shortage Plan, the Public Works Department is adjusting our internal operations:
- Washing of municipal vehicle fleets will cease.
- Street sweeping will continue at this time, but with little to no water consumption.
- Flushing of the wastewater system will continue as regular maintenance is crucial in preventing blockages in pipes, unsanitary conditions, and back-ups.
Our department will continue to evaluate our operations and make all accommodations to conserve water.
